Bunny Hemsby celebrates 93rd birthday.Bunny Hemsby who founded OVEG 33 years ago and who has helped make Oxhey Village what it is today, celebrated her 93rd birthday on Sunday June 3rd 2007 Photos Bunny had a vision 33 years ago, wanting to establish a group that would support the community by: § preserving the character of Oxhey Village and its surroundings § fostering the community spirit in the village § maintaining and improve the environment of the area § recording the history of the area Bunny’s vision is still as strong today as it was 33 years ago, with membership of OVEG increasing year on year.
